Job summary

Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network (RMCLHN) in Tailem Bend is seeking a Hotel Services Assistant on a casual basis to support care and comfort in the health unit. You will help with food preparation, service, delivery, housekeeping and laundry, while maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.

Applicants should be reliable, team‑oriented and able to work in a fast‑paced setting. Flexible work arrangements and an inclusive workplace are offered; successful applicants will meet safety

Qualifications

• Year 11 completion and a current First Aid certificate desirable.
• Experience in housekeeping, catering, or laundry.
• Manual handling skills and equality employment principles awareness.
• Ability to work in a diverse team and meet deadlines.

Join our team as a Hotel Services Assistant and play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of our health unit. In this dynamic position, you'll contribute to food preparation, service, and delivery while helping maintain a clean, welcoming environment through housekeeping and laundry duties. What We're Looking For:

• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with people from diverse backgrounds
• Flexible, reliable, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Basic experience in housekeeping, catering, or laundry duties
• Understanding of workplace safety, food safety, and infection control practices
• Strong organisational skills, confidentiality, and basic computer proficiency

Desired Criteria
