Job summary

CQUniversity Rockhampton is seeking to fill a casual pool in the School of Education and the Arts to deliver training and support for the Diploma of Project Management. You will facilitate engaging learning experiences, assess student competency and provide guidance across face-to-face, online and blended formats.

The role requires current vocational PM qualifications, relevant training delivery experience and a commitment to inclusive education for diverse learners.

Qualifications

• Vocational qualification in Project Management at Diploma level or higher.
• TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent in adult/vocational education.
• Experience delivering engaging training and tutorials in Project Management across face-to-face, online or blended learning.
• Current industry experience in project management with knowledge of contemporary PM principles.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills with a student-focused approach.
• Ability to work with diverse learners and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

In this position, you will deliver high-quality training, tutorials and student support within the Diploma of Project Management. You will facilitate engaging learning experiences, provide academic guidance and consultation, assess student competency and contribute to positive educational outcomes aligned with contemporary industry practices and national training standards.

You will work with a diverse range of learners, supporting them to develop the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to successfully apply project management principles in a variety of workplace settings. Along with delivering and assessing training, you will provide timely feedback, maintain accurate records, and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Position Requirements

• Current vocational qualification in Project Management at Diploma level or higher.
• TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or a diploma or higher-level qualification in adult or vocational education.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver engaging and effective training and tutorials in Project Management through face-to-face, online and/or blended learning environments.
• Current industry experience in project management, with demonstrated knowledge of contemporary project management principles, methodologies and practices.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills with a student-focused approach.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and contribute positively to a collaborative team environment.
