Mytra in Brisbane is looking for a Systems Engineering Lead to architect and integrate their robotic platform. This role focuses on ensuring system-level reliability and cross-disciplinary alignment.
Candidates must have 7+ years in mechatronics, experience in product lifecycle phases, and a passion for solving complex problems. The position includes competitive compensation and full health coverage.
We’re creating an entirely new way to solve the most ubiquitous problem in industry – moving and storing material. We’re applying robotics and distributed software to create a new class of product for this $1T market. We’re focused on the supply chain industry first. The industry is in a massive bind with the continued growth of e‑commerce, sharp rise in costs, and supply chain disruptions. What has been a “sleepy” industry for decades is now at the epicenter of sustaining the global economy.
Mytra is seeking a Systems Engineering Lead to serve as the technical architect and integrator for our robotic platform. This lead role is responsible for the system‑level technical roadmap, cross‑disciplinary alignment, and long‑term reliability of the product.
You will operate at the intersection of hardware, embedded systems, controls, perception, software, and infrastructure – ensuring that Mytra’s platform evolves as a coherent system, not a collection of subsystems. You will also make high‑impact decisions that balance performance, cost, safety, reliability, and speed – ensuring the platform scales without accumulating hidden system risk.
Compensation for this position will be set based on the candidate's experience level and location. The posted salary band is applicable only to the San Francisco Bay Area and is subject to change.
This role requires on‑site presence at our Brisbane, CA headquarters.
190,000 - 210,000 USD per year (Mytra, Inc.)
