Your New Role

Join a team responsible for delivering a secure, modern, and seamless workplace technology experience across the organisation. As a Systems Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing, implementing, and continuously improving end user computing and identity services, helping to enhance productivity, security, and operational resilience for thousands of users.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Drive the continuous improvement of identity and access management services, ensuring reliability, security, and an exceptional user experience.
  • Act as a technical subject matter expert, providing guidance on complex technical issues and supporting escalations.
  • Partner with technology and business stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with strategic business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to automate processes, improve service delivery, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Embed security-by-design principles into technology solutions and partner closely with cybersecurity teams to address risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate across technology teams to manage dependencies and ensure successful delivery of workplace technology initiatives.
How do you exceed our expectations?
  • Demonstrated experience (typically 5+ years) designing, deploying, and operating modern workplace environments in medium to large enterprises.
  • Proven experience implementing and supporting Zero Trust-aligned workplace controls, including identity‑centric access, device trust, password less, and continuous verification rather than perimeter‑based security.
  • Knowledge of cloud-first workplace environments and modern device management practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to lead the resolution of complex technical issues.
  • Experience operating workplace environments where least‑privilege access and assume‑breach principles are applied by default, including: Minimising standing administrative access, supporting just‑in‑time or time‑bound elevated access models, designing controls to limit lateral movement and blast radius.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, with a passion for automation, innovation, and enhancing user experiences.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across technical and business teams.
  • Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD‑102). Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC‑300) - Highly desirable
