The Role
The Systems Administrator is an experienced professional who will work alongside other Omni professionals in a multi-disciplinary team to deliver services and expertise to a key client. As part of an embedded team, the staff member will work full-time to provide specialised systems and services that are essential capabilities within a high-security environment. They will maintain, sustain and incrementally improve these systems to meet the client's evolving requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the delivery of the agreed SoW to the satisfaction of the client including:
  • Deploy, monitor, maintain, upgrade, and support all client ICT systems, infrastructure, hardware and software.
  • Maintain standard build templates and documentation for client systems.
  • Ensure the baseline configuration of client systems and environments.
  • Respond to client ICT support services in accordance with ITIL Service Management.
  • Provide remediation and stabilisation of client networks, inclusive of all support arrangements.
  • Identify areas for process optimisation and efficiency improvements and contribute to a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and accountability.

Essential Requirements
The below key requirements are required:

  • Be an Australian Citizen.
  • Hold a current Australian Government Security Clearance (TSPV).
  • Ability to work onsite (Canberra).

In addition, this role will require:

  • A strong understanding of Windows-based systems administration.
  • A strong understanding of VMware-based virtualisation technologies.
  • Experience working with ITIL methodologies for IT service management.
  • A sound understanding of relevant policies and frameworks for secure government systems.
  • Strong understanding of the implementation of ISM security controls.
