Branch: System Response and Transformation

Division: System Response and Transformation

Location: East Perth

Salary: Level 2 to Level 7 $73,954 - $143,736 per annum (pro-rata) (PSCA 2022) and Level EO3: $152,805 - $160,301 per annum (pro-rata) (SEA GA 2024)

This talent register is an online portal that allows you to register your interest for fixed term, full-time and part-time opportunities up to twelve (12) months for a range of key positions across the System Response Transformation Branch (SRT).

The Department of Education’s priority and focus remains on appointing merit based selected staff, permanently.

Our Division

SRT ensures high performance for the Department by giving senior leaders visibility into system performance and improvements. They achieve this by delivering strategic projects, collecting and analysing data, and reporting on performance.

The Transformation Office researches the viability of concepts and develops recommendations that guide strategic development to business improvement and transformational initiatives, preparing the Department for the future.

The Program Management Office drives and provides oversight of responses and initiatives that facilitate the delivery of the Department’s strategic intent; using project management methodologies to underpin collaboration, standardisation and the on time, on-budget delivery of key project metrics.

Business Intelligence (BI) has responsibility for the Department’s strategy, including the continuous improvement and maturity of data collection, storage and analysis to enable executive dashboards for senior leadership to support strategic decision making and to mitigate key enterprise risks. The System Assurance team supports the Corporate Executive and governance committees through services such as monitoring government and Minister priorities, ensuring compliance, enabling senior leadership decision making and assurance of system performance.
