Job summary

Precision Sourcing is seeking a storage-focused infrastructure engineer to own day-to-day admin across large-scale Linux, enterprise storage and HPC environments.

You will manage multi-petabyte environments spanning disk and tape, tune performance, and implement automation with Ansible. The role emphasizes storage-to-application layer understanding and strong monitoring skills.

Qualifications

• Solid enterprise storage experience across both disk and tape.
• Experience with large-scale multi-vendor storage environments.
• Strong understanding of storage from the physical medium through to the application layer.
• Experience provisioning pools.
• Experience with monitoring tools: Zabbix/Prometheus/Grafana.
• DevOps / IaC experience, particularly Ansible.

This is a genuinely technical infrastructure role working across large-scale Linux, enterprise storage and HPC environments.

We’re looking for someone who knows storage properly - not just someone who has touched it as part of a broader infrastructure role.

You’ll be working across a multi-petabyte environment, spanning disk and tape, Linux, virtualisation, cloud, containers and high-performance infrastructure.
