Job summary

face2face Recruitment seeks a System Administrator for Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) to support and enhance LIMS platforms across Australian labs. You’ll work with stakeholders, developers and ICT teams to troubleshoot issues, implement functionality and ensure reliable performance.

Responsibilities include administering LabWare and SampleManager, developing functionality with SQL and scripting, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience administering LIMS platforms or comparable laboratory systems.
• Knowledge of LabWare, SampleManager or similar laboratory information systems.
• Experience with SQL, database administration and data processing.
• Programming or scripting experience in languages such as VGL, LIMS Basics, C#, Visual Basic, Java or HTML.
• Understanding of scientific laboratory operations and quality control processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

About the Role

As a LIMS Administrator, you will manage, maintain and enhance laboratory information management systems supporting scientific laboratory operations. Working closely with business stakeholders, developers and ICT teams, you will troubleshoot technical issues, develop new functionality, manage system access and ensure reliable system performance.
