Job summary

Department of Justice and Community Safety in Victoria is seeking a System Administrator to keep key people systems running smoothly across the justice system, with hands-on system work and real impact.

You will leverage Chris21 experience to improve reliability, accuracy and usability, manage changes, and work with users and suppliers to plan improvements. This is an ongoing, full-time role with an annual salary of AUD 100,894 to 114,476 plus super.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with the Chris21 system.
• Strong technical skills to support large systems and solve complex problems.
• Knowledge of system testing and release processes.
• Ability to adapt to change, manage tasks and solve problems.
• Team-focused with ability to explain technical issues clearly.
• Relevant tertiary qualification is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Keep vital people systems running smoothly across Victoria's justice system.
• manage system changes to improve how applications work and protect data
• work with system users and suppliers to find needs and plan improvements
• keep clear records of system settings, changes and work steps
• plan and run user testing after system updates and new features
• check data, prepare reports and find ways to improve system quality.
