About the role

Our Internship Program provides final year university students with the opportunity to gain meaningful paid work experience while completing their studies. The program runs from 30 November 2026 to 12 February 2027 and offers exposure to real projects, professional development opportunities, and the chance to work alongside experienced professionals across Sydney Water. Potential extension for additional 12 months for high performing interns (2-3 days per week during university).

To be successful in this role, you will have the following:-

• Current enrolment as a final year university student


• You will be completing your course in 2027


• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency at the time of application

• Curiosity, innovation, and a proactive approach to new challenges


• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Location

Please note that opportunities are available across multiple Sydney Water locations throughout Greater Sydney, including Parramatta, Potts Hill and other operational sites in Sydney’s North, South and Western Regions. Some locations may require access to your own transport.
