Musco Lighting Australia is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to join our team in the Sydney area. You’ll build relationships with contractors, engineers, and facility owners, and drive lighting solutions for sports facilities and other applications.

The role emphasizes customer-focused sales, opportunity development, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering and sales teams. Travel and self-management are required for territory success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in sports management, business, sales, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant sales experience preferred.
• Strong customer-first mindset with ability to build trust at all levels.
• Willingness to travel extensively and use a personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Build lasting customer relationships with contractors, specifiers, facility owners and end-users.
• Understand customer needs and recommend Musco products and services.
• Develop new business opportunities and strengthen existing customer relationships.
• Present Musco products through meetings, site visits, trade shows and events.
• Identify key decision-makers and influence project opportunities.
• Prepare project budget estimates using Musco pricing tools and resources.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering and internal teams to create solutions.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and credit where appropriate.
• Participate in field activities such as site surveys, night tests, and warranty inspections.
• Maintain accurate project information in Musco’s sales database.
