Job summary

Richard Jay, Sydney-based supplier of commercial and industrial laundry and warewashing equipment, is seeking a Field Sales Executive to grow Commercial & Industrial sales across NSW South and ACT. Based in Sydney with regular regional overnight travel, you will own your territory, build lasting relationships and be rewarded for results.

Your role covers aged care, healthcare, hospitality, and facilities management; you will manage existing accounts and win new business, delivering tailored

Qualifications

• Minimum three years' experience in B2B field sales, preferably in capital equipment or related sectors.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets and winning new business.
• Experience selling to decision-makers in healthcare, hospitality, aged care or government.
• Ability to interpret site plans and technical specs; training provided on product range.

Responsibilities

• Develop a territory plan balancing new business, retention and growth.
• Prospect, visit customers, and leverage networks to create opportunities.
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable laundry and warewashing equipment.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate, and achieve revenue and gross margin targets.
• Identify replacement, upgrade and multi-site opportunities.
• Present maintenance, extended warranty, rental and finance options.
• Support tenders and RFQs.
• Coordinate with service, installations and operations to meet commitments.
• Keep CRM pipeline, activity and forecasts up to date.
• Refer chemical and dispensing opportunities to Symbio/JayChem team.
