Job summary

Dentons Australia is seeking a junior governance/conflicts lawyer or conflicts analyst to join the General Counsel and Risk Department in Sydney, with potential to base in other Australian offices. The role begins on a 6‑month contract (full-time or part-time) with possible extension.

You will support the General Counsel and Company Secretary, handling conflict clearance, risk analysis, and compliance with public company obligations, including share registers and meeting requirements.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years PQE in corporate, commercial, compliance or company secretarial experience
• Experience in a professional services environment
• Excellent research and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Execute Dentons' conflict clearance and client approval process with the conflict team.
• Streamline conflict processes and analyse information in the conflict management system.
• Educate and train staff on conflicts matters and participate in risk presentations in AU and PNG offices.
