Job summary

Poolwerx is seeking a Pool & Spa Technician to join our sunny, outdoor team. You’ll service pools for families and commercial partners, keeping water sparkling and chemically balanced, while building strong client relationships.

You’ll work independently, market our supplies, manage van stock, and adapt to busy summers. Experience in the pool industry helps, but we’ll teach you the rest if you’re self-motivated and eager to learn.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted driver’s licence is required.
• Consent to a police clearance check if not already held.
• Able to work autonomously and manage own client base.
• Available during the busy summer period.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Experience in pool and spa industry is welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sparkling, clean, and chemically safe swimming pools for families and commercial partners.
• Market Poolwerx supplies to clients and organise stock stored in the van.
• Think on your feet to resolve challenges and build strong client relationships while working independently.
• Learn and work in the retail side of the business.

As a Pool & Spa Technician, here’s what you’ll achieve:

• You’ll help create backyard memories for local families and commercial partners, through delivering sparkling, clean, and chemically safe swimming pools.

• You’ll market our industry-leading Poolwerx supplies to your clients, as well as organise and list any stock stored in your van.

• You’ll also think on your feet to resolve any challenges you may encounter and build strong relationships with your clients while you work independently.

• You’ll also learn and work in the retail side of the business

What You’ll Bring

• You’ll need a current unrestricted drivers licence (car provided after training period)

• You’ll also need to consent to a police clearance check if you don’t have one already.

• You’ll love working autonomously and take pride in managing your own client base.

• You must be available through the busy summer period.

• A willingness to achieve and learn You'll enjoy working outdoors in a physical role

Although we’d love you to have experience or knowledge of the pool and spa industry, we can teach you the rest if you have a learning attitude. What’s most important is that you’re self-motivated, good at thinking on your feet and you feel aligned with our values.
