Job summary

Rainbow Club Australia is seeking an enthusiastic swimming teacher to guide children with disabilities at The Ponds Rainbow Club on Saturdays and Sundays during term. You will conduct safe, engaging sessions following the Swim the Rainbow program and help learners of varying ages.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and understanding of swim teaching and water safety, ensuring member safety and enjoyment.
• Ability to manage members of various ages and abilities in an aquatic learning environment.
• NDISWC (apply after position offer) is required for all applicants.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safe, positive, and motivating swimming classes following our Swim the Rainbow Program.
• Teach children with disabilities to swim and provide aqua exercises.
• Ensure safety and enjoyment of all participants during lessons.

About Rainbow Club:

Rainbow Club is a network of social swimming clubs for children with a disability. Rainbow Club Australia is a charity that helps children with a disability learn to swim and provides young adults with aqua exercise classes. We have 70+ clubs across NSW, Victoria, ACT and QLD and have plans to increase our footprint to meet the increasing demand for membership. We employ 400+ swimming teachers on a casual basis to provide personalised swimming lessons and aqua exercises to children and young adults with a disability.

The Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, qualified swimming teacher to help children with disabilities learn to swim at The Ponds Rainbow club on Saturday and Sundays during term.

This is a great opportunity for weekend work. You will leave every week feeling like you've made a difference in the lives of children and families with a disability.
