Job summary

Kingswim, part of YMCA Victoria, is hiring Swim Teacher in Training in Victoria. You’ll learn on the job, earn while you train, and gain qualification-ready experience in a pool-based setting. Flexible afternoon or weekend shifts fit study and family commitments.

Paid training hours and mentors support your growth, with the chance to progress to AU$32.18 per hour once qualified. No prior teaching experience required; you bring energy and reliability, and we’ll teach the rest.

Qualifications

• Energetic and reliable individual with a love for teaching children.
• Basic swimming ability and confidence in water are preferred.
• Availability for one afternoon or weekend shift each week.
• No prior teaching experience required; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming and build confidence in students.
• Participate in training and development sessions.
• Collaborate with mentors and team to deliver lessons.
