A leading community organization in Victoria is seeking a Swim Teacher to develop and deliver lesson plans for children. The role involves creating engaging swimming lessons and promoting water safety. Applicants should have a passion for teaching, effective customer service skills, and relevant qualifications, including CPR certification. This is a casual role offering an hourly rate up to $33.37 plus superannuation.

About the Centre
The Peter Krenz Leisure Centre is owned by the City of Greater Bendigo and proudly managed by the YMCA. The Centre provides a wide range of programs and activities, including Learn to Swim, Group Fitness, Recreational Swimming, Health and Fitness, Stadium and Squash hire. The main goal of the YMCA is to provide opportunities for all people to be more active, more often and help them reach their personal fitness goals. Our friendly team is highly qualified and has the experience to help you reach your training goals – whatever they may be.
About the Role
As a Swim Teacher at Peter Krenz, you will be developing and delivering lesson plans that promote swimming skill building in school aged children, combining stroke development with water safety and enhancing the overall confidence and ability of your students.
This is a Casual role with an hourly rate up to $33.37 + super & Y Benefits.
About You
You will be passionate about inspiring and developing water safety and swimming skills in children and young people. Experience in other teaching or coaching roles is a bonus but not necessary. Personal attributes such as patience, respect, and enthusiasm will take you far as a Swim Teacher!
