Job summary

Belgravia Leisure is seeking energetic Swim School Instructors at Moss Vale War Memorial Aquatic Centre to teach a range of ages and abilities. You’ll deliver swimming lessons with a focus on water safety, communicate clearly with students and staff, and support school groups during term time.

Casual positions are available, with shifts mornings, evenings and weekends. Applicants must hold a current First Aid (Level 2), CPR, WWC and National Police Check, plus a current AUSswim certificate or

Qualifications

• Current First Aid (Level 2) and Current CPR Certificate.
• Working With Children Check (or equivalent) and National Police Check.
• Current AUSTSWIM Certificate – or equivalent.

This is a great opportunityfor qualified teachers who enjoy swimming,love working with children, who want to teach the skills of swimming andthe value of water safety.

The Role

Moss Vale War Memorial Aquatic Centre is looking for energetic, confident and motivated people to join our Swim School team.

TheSwim School Instructordelivers swimming lessons to a wide variety of ages and abilities. Successful applicants will be effective communicators who demonstrate a strong attention to detail.

You will possess strong time management and organisational skills, as well as the ability to work well in a team environment with minimal supervision. Relevant industry qualifications are essential.

Multiple casual position available. You must be available to work during school hours to teach school groups.

• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends and must be empathetic to the needs of the classes
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as a strong and valuable part of the team
