Job summary

Belgravia Leisure's Gladstone Aquatic Centre is seeking energetic Swim Teachers to deliver lessons across ages and abilities. You will communicate clearly, manage time effectively and work well in a supportive team with minimal supervision.

Qualifications in first aid, CPR, Working with Vulnerable People and a Swim Teaching Certificate are essential, with a strong emphasis on water safety and child welfare.

Qualifications

• Current First Aid (Level 2) and CPR certificates are essential.
• Working with Vulnerable People clearance and National Police Check required.
• Current Swim Teaching Certificate required.
• Experience teaching children helpful.
• Able to work mornings, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver swimming lessons to a wide variety of ages and abilities.
• Communicate effectively with students and parents.
• Demonstrate strong time management and attention to detail.
• Work well in a team with minimal supervision.

The Role

Gladstone Aquatic Centre is looking for energetic, confident and motivated people to join our Swim School team.

The Swim Teacher delivers swimming lessons to a wide variety of ages and abilities. Successful applicants will be effective communicators who demonstrate a strong attention to detail.

You will possess strong time management and organisational skills, as well as the ability to work well in a team environment with minimal supervision. Relevant industry qualifications are essential.
