Job summary

Future Swim in Sydney seeks a dynamic leader to be the face of the business, driving profitability and staff excellence. You will oversee safety, recruitment, rostering, and daily operations while upholding our mission and values.

The role requires strong business acumen, prior aquatic industry experience, and the ability to coach and develop staff to become top instructors. This is a hands-on leadership position in a busy aquatic facility.

Qualifications

• Must hold First Aid Certificate.
• Must have Current CPR.
• Must be a Qualified Swim Teacher (AUSTSWIM).
• Must have Working with children check.
• Driver's Licence preferred but not required.
• Pool Operations knowledge preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• In charge of Safety in and out of water.
• Recruitment/training of staff.
• Rostering for water and admin hours.
• Staff development such as quarterly meetings and ongoing coaching to make the staff the best teachers that they can be.
• Create a great workplace culture that is consistent with our mission and values of the business.
• Ensure that the business policies, procedures and safe work are followed at all times.
• Water quality maintenance (pool operations).
• Stock management and orders.
• Daily operations such as phone calls, enrolments and bookings.
• Teaching hours where required.
