This is your opportunity to play a key leadership role at one of Queensland’s biggest and most dynamic swim schools, Rackley Swimming Miami, home to over 3,000 kids in our Learn to Swim program.

You’ll be working alongside and reporting to the Swim School Manager, supporting the continued growth and success of the program while leading from the front. This role requires a hands-on leader who’s happy to roll up their sleeves with the team, whether that’s supporting instructors in the water, engaging with families, or working on the pool deck.

Why Join Us
  • Lead at Scale – Help guide one of the largest swim schools in Queensland, impacting thousands of swimmers.
  • Shape the Experience – Play a key role in ensuring every child has the best possible learning journey.
  • Career Growth – Clear professional development pathways and mentoring from an experienced leadership team.
  • Supportive Team – Join a passionate, collaborative leadership group who love aquatics.
  • Competitive Package – Attractive salary, exclusive perks, and recognition for your impact.
What We’re Looking For

As the Swim School Lead, you’ll share responsibility for the growth, quality, and success of the Learn to Swim program at Rackley Swimming Miami. This is not a desk job! We need a leader who thrives in a busy, people-focused environment, available to work afternoons, Sundays and on the pool deck to meet the needs of our families and team.

Key Responsibilities
Program & In-Water Experience
  • Support high teaching standards across all levels, from infants to squad.
  • Foster a culture of progression, engagement, and quality instruction.
  • Work with the Senior Manager to continuously evolve the program.
Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, mentor, and support a large team of instructors.
  • Contribute to a strong coaching and mentoring culture.
  • Drive team engagement, training, and recognition.
Growth, Sales & Customer Experience
  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience that supports student progression and parent engagement.
  • Support marketing and community initiatives to grow the program.
  • Build strong community and school partnerships.
  • Drive sales and enrolments through outreach to schools, community groups and local networks.
Operations & Day-to-Day Leadership
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure the swim school runs smoothly.
  • Be visible and active on the pool deck to support both staff and families.
  • Maintain safety, compliance, scheduling, and enrolments.
About You

You’re a leader who enjoys being active and visible, not stuck behind a desk. You bring:

  • Experience managing or assisting in the leadership of a large swim school.
  • Strong leadership skills with a collaborative, team-first approach.
  • A passion for progression-focused teaching & coaching.
  • The ability to balance customer experience with operational excellence.
  • A growth-oriented mindset, comfortable driving enrolments, conducting outreach to schools and local communities, and helping grow the program.
  • Flexibility to work afternoons, weekends, and Sundays.
