Job summary

Woolworths Group is seeking a sustainability professional to drive climate and nature program execution across Australia and New Zealand. You will translate risks into commercially sound programs aligned with the group’s multi-year strategy, with a hybrid working setup in Sydney or Melbourne.

You will lead animal welfare improvements, sustainable sourcing, and Net Zero targets while reporting to senior stakeholders and collaborating with Commercial teams to strengthen supply chains.

Qualifications

• Strong practical knowledge of sustainable farming systems and animal welfare standards.
• Experience integrating programs across commercial supply chains.
• Meat industry knowledge is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day execution and coordination of climate and nature programs across ANZ.
• Improve animal welfare standards across supply chains and support implementation with Commercial teams.
• Support Net Zero (FLAG) programs and supply chain resilience for key agricultural sourcing commodities like meat.
• Prepare accurate reporting and updates for senior leaders on climate and nature priorities.
• Monitor media, policy, and regulatory environment related to climate and environment.
