Job summary

City of Sydney is seeking an experienced Sustainability Engagement Manager to lead residential sustainability and resilience initiatives while the current Manager is on maternity leave.

You will design, deliver and evaluate programs across the residential strata sector, lead a small team, and build strong relationships with government, industry and communities to drive market transformation and informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and delivering environmental or resilience programs.
• Strong stakeholder and leadership skills with built environment sustainability knowledge.
• Experience with residential strata sector would be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• lead the design, delivery and evaluation of sustainability and resilience programs across the residential strata sector
• lead and inspire a small team to deliver initiatives that improve environmental performance and support more sustainable apartment living
• build strong relationships with government, industry, community and other key stakeholders to achieve strategic outcomes
• influence and engage the strata sector to build capability, encourage leadership and drive market transformation
• provide expert advice on sustainability matters, including briefings and reports for Council and information for the community
• work collaboratively across the City to deliver initiatives that support our environmental and resilience strategies and targets
