Job summary

E-LAB Consulting is seeking an Intermediate Sustainability Consultant to join our Melbourne team. You will deliver technical sustainability advice across the design process, with a growing focus on environmental performance. You will work with the Team Lead, run parts of projects, and mentor junior team members.

Ideal candidates have 3–4 years of sustainability consulting experience, hands-on carbon assessment skills, and knowledge of Green Star, NABERS, WELL and Section J/NatHERS compliance.

Qualifications

• 3 to 4 years of experience in sustainability consulting or closely related field.
• Hands-on carbon assessment experience including analysis and modelling.
• Experience with Green Star, NABERS or WELL and Section J compliance.

Responsibilities

• Undertake environmental performance assessments including upfront carbon modelling and NABERS performance.
• Consult on delivering Green Star, NABERS, WELL ratings and NatHERS compliance.
• Prepare technical reports, proposals and presentations; run client workshops on sustainability strategies.
• Support and lead projects focusing on client service, resourcing and timely delivery.
• Peer review modelling, calculations and reports.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to team ways of working.
