Job summary

Pedders Suspension & Brakes Penrith is seeking a qualified Wheel Aligner & Automotive Suspension Specialist to join our workshop. The role focuses on suspension work, 4x4 lift kits, GVM upgrades, braking upgrades, and wheel alignments.

Must hold Certificate III Automotive (Light Vehicle) and have knowledge or willingness to learn wheel alignments. We offer a Monday to Friday schedule with no weekend work, uniform provided, and training in technical management areas.

Qualifications

• CERTIII in motor vehicle repairs is required.
• Experience with suspension and wheel alignment is preferred or willing to learn wheel alignments.
• Australian citizenship or rights to work in Australia required.

Responsibilities

• Suspension fault diagnosis and repair.
• Wheel alignment tasks and calibration.
• General repairs of brake, steering, and suspension components.
• Complete suspension upgrades including GVM upgrades.

Our workshop sees a good mix of passenger vehicle, performance vehicles and 4x4. We pride ourselves in providing a good work environment with good vibes.

The best part about this position, we do not work weekends.

Monday to Friday only with reasonable overtime.

The right candidate will have:

• An Australian Citizenship & rights to work in Australia.

• Certificate III Automotive (Mechanical - Light Vehicle) Or in Final year

• Current, Drivers license (Manual Preferred)

• A willingness to learn industry leading practices.

• Experience in basic wheel alignments is an advantage but training provided.

• Posses a friendly and confident demeanor, with a “can do” attitude

• Have ability to multi-task, whilst maintaining high attention to detail

• Ability to work well in a team (Including good communication skills)

• Stay focused when unsupervised

• Ability to work in a fast pace environment

• Well groomed and presented

• Maintain a clean and neat working space
