Job summary

Pedders Suspension Penrith is seeking a Qualified Mechanic to join the team, focusing on suspension work, wheel alignments, and upgrades. The role requires a Certificate III in Automotive and a valid Australian work-rights status. Weekdays only and a manual licence preferred.

You will work on a mix of passenger, performance, and 4x4 vehicles, with training and a supportive team culture. Expect a competitive hourly rate and a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Australian citizenship or rights to work in Australia.
• Current, drivers license (manual preferred).
• Willingness to learn industry leading practices and wheel alignment.

Responsibilities

• Suspension fault diagnosis.
• Wheel alignment.
• General repairs of brake, steering & suspension components.
• Complete suspension upgrades including GVM upgrades.

Do you find enjoyment & satisfaction on working on vehicles suspension? 4x4 suspension lift kits, GVM upgrade kits, Brake upgrades & conversions, lowering suspension.

Our workshop sees a good mix of passenger vehicle, performance vehicles and 4x4. We pride ourselves in providing a good work environment with good vibes.

The best part about this position, we do not work weekends.

Monday to Friday only with reasonable overtime.

Duties Include:

• Suspension Fault diagnosis

The right candidate will have:

• An Australian Citizenship & rights to work in Australia.

• Certificate III Automotive (Mechanical - Light Vehicle) Or in Final year

• Current, Drivers license (Manual Preferred)

• A willingness to learn industry leading practices.

• Experience in basic wheel alignments is an advantage but training provided.

• Posses a friendly and confident demeanor, with a “can do” attitude

• Have ability to multi-task, whilst maintaining high attention to detail

• Ability to work well in a team (Including good communication skills)

• Stay focused when unsupervised

• Ability to work in a fast pace environment

• Well groomed and presented

• Maintain a clean and neat working space
