Job summary

AMA Group's Smart AVR is seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our Albury team, based in Thurgoona. The role focuses on inspecting, diagnosing and repairing suspension, steering and driveline systems, plus general mechanical work to manufacturer standards.

You will work with modern diagnostic tools, uphold high safety and quality, document jobs accurately, and collaborate with a team dedicated to delivering top service and solutions in automotive technology.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as Automotive Mechanic or Light Vehicle Technician.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing suspension, steering and driveline.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Air-conditioning licence desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose and repair suspension, steering and driveline to manufacturer standards.
• Perform wheel-end, steering and underbody inspections and repairs.
• Diagnose, service and repair air-conditioning systems where licensed.
• Document work accurately and maintain safety and quality standards.
• Support diagnostic work and modern vehicle systems as required.
