Overview

SSA Group is partnered with a leading cadastral specialist surveying firm that is seeking a surveyor. Due to ongoing work and a strong pipeline of future projects, our client is looking to expand their surveying team in Sydney. This role is suitable for a surveyor looking to become a registered surveyor or who has started their pathway to registration.

Location and Compensation
  • Location: Sydney
  • Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 + Package
What will our new responsibilities be?
  • Topographic, contour, and detail surveying; cadastral surveying across a range of rural, urban, and greenfield locations
  • Survey plans for building residential structures
  • Large-scale subdivisions and other projects for which cadastral surveys are conducted
  • Construction projects for homes and businesses
  • Developments in strata and community title projects related to infrastructure
  • Interact with a wide range of clients, such as government agencies, builders, and developers of all sizes
  • Communicate with team members, project managers, and clients to produce outstanding outcomes
What do you need to be a successful candidate?
  • Postgraduate qualification or diploma
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and Survey/Civil software; familiarity with Leica and Trimble total stations and GNSS equipment
  • A valid Class "C" driver's licence from NSW
  • 12-month minimum experience working as a land surveyor in New South Wales
  • Outstanding communication and time management abilities; capacity to work both individually and collaboratively
