Job summary

RPS Group is seeking an experienced Surveyor to join our Mackay team, with relocation assistance for the right candidate. The role offers exposure to infrastructure and development projects across North Queensland and opportunities to progress registration.

You will provide expert surveying services, mentor junior staff, manage projects, and liaise with clients while using modern equipment and software including Trimble and 12D.

Qualifications

• Current Queensland registration or eligibility for registration.
• Experience in a surveying role across diverse projects.
• Proven ability to manage projects and lead/mentor staff.
• Proficiency with surveying equipment and software.
• Experience with Trimble instruments and 12D is advantageous.
• Willingness to relocate to Mackay, QLD.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice and instruction on surveying projects.
• Develop and maintain client base in infrastructure and development sectors.
• Perform fieldwork, data processing, and project management.
• Support team leaders and survey manager with resource planning.
• Adhere to WHS policies.
