Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking experienced Surveyors to join the Alliance team for the Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail project. You will deliver construction set-out and coordinate with site teams, shape digital models from plans, and maintain survey equipment to high standards.

Ideal candidates have a surveying qualification with significant experience on large civil infrastructures, plus 12D and machine control familiarity.

Qualifications

• Diploma equivalent in surveying or bachelor’s degree in surveying.
• Demonstrated experience in large civil infrastructure projects preferred.
• Experience with 12D (Model/Field/Synergy) desirable.
• Machine control experience desirable.
• Intermediate MS Suite skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver construction set-out for roads, drainage, utilities, concrete, SMP works.
• Coordinate with site teams and subcontractors.
• Interpret plans and form digital models for set-out.
• Calibrate and maintain survey equipment to standards.
• Support project monitoring, progress reporting, and as-built documentation.
• Collaborate with GIS and Digital Engineering teams.

About the Project:

The Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail (LGC) Project will double the number of rail tracks and upgrade stations for a 20 kilometre section of the Beenleigh and Gold Coast lines between Kuraby, a suburb south of Brisbane's CBD, and Beenleigh, a suburb of Logan City.

About the Role:

Acciona are currently seeking experienced Surveyors to join our Alliance team and support the delivery of a major infrastructure project. Reporting to the Survey Manager, you will be responsible for these key deliverables:

• Deliver construction set-out for various scopes including roads, drainage, utilities, concrete and SMP (Structural, Mechanical & Piping) works, dependent on competencies
• Coordinate closely with site-based construction teams and subcontractors
• Interpret project specifications and plans, forming digital models for construction set-out
• Follow established survey procedures and processes to meet Alliance objectives
• Calibrate and maintain survey equipment to required standards
• Support project monitoring and progress reporting, including as-built documentation
• Complete survey computations and collaborate with the survey data management team
• Actively participate in all Alliance Safety initiatives, promoting a strong safety culture
• Collaborate with the broader GIS and Digital Engineering teams
• Support initiatives that enhance the working experience across the Alliance

About You:

• Diploma equivalent in surveying and/or bachelor's degree in surveying with considerable experience supporting large civil infrastructure projects
• Demonstrated experience in 12D (Model, Field and Synergy) desirable
• Machine Control Experience desirable
• Experience in concrete and SMP (Structural, mechanical, piping) desirable
• Intermediate in MS Suite
• Able to work in a high performing and professional team with a genuine desire to be part of this amazing and challenging project
