This role demands strong expertise in survey methodology, sampling frameworks, data validation, and project operations. The individual will lead cross-functional teams, manage client relationships, and ensure projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in survey consulting, primary data collection, vendor coordination, and data-driven insights generation, along with the ability to lead multiple survey mandates simultaneously.

What will you be doing?
1. End-to-End Survey Project Management
  • Lead the complete lifecycle of survey-based projects, including project scoping, methodology design, field planning, data collection, quality control, and final delivery.
  • Design and validate questionnaires, sampling structures, and data collection approaches aligned with project objectives.
  • Translate client requirements into actionable survey execution plans with clear milestones, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Track project progress closely and proactively mitigate risks or delays through contingency planning and real-time updates.
2. Field Operations & Vendor Management
  • Manage and coordinate with field partners, vendors, and internal survey teams to ensure accurate and timely data collection.
  • Ensure adherence to sampling logic, field protocols, and ethical standards during survey execution.
  • Monitor response rates, data quality, and completion metrics across regions or target segments.
  • Oversee vendor empanelment, cost negotiation, and performance evaluation for smooth survey delivery.
3. Quality Assurance & Data Integrity
  • Implement rigorous quality control processes for data validation, consistency checks, and back-end verification.
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and alignment with client specifications before analysis.
  • Supervise the cleaning, coding, and tabulation of survey data in collaboration with analytics teams.
4. Client Management & Delivery
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Present project plans, progress updates, and final survey findings with actionable insights.
  • Deliver insight-driven recommendations supported by quantitative evidence and survey intelligence.
  • Maintain strong relationships for repeat business and client satisfaction.
  • Lead and mentor a team of survey analysts, field coordinators, and data executives, ensuring consistent output quality.
  • Conduct regular project reviews, guide on methodology and execution improvements, and promote best practices in survey consulting.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and operational efficiency.

  • Share learnings and insights across teams to build institutional knowledge and operational excellence.
  • Identify technology and automation opportunities (CATI/CAPI platforms, dashboarding tools, etc.) for better survey execution and reporting.
Qualification & Experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in survey consulting, primary research, or field project management with exposure to both B2B and B2C surveys.
  • Proven track record in survey design, execution, data validation, and client delivery for multi-country or multi-sector projects.
  • Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, survey scripting platforms (e.g., SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, Decipher, QuestionPro, etc.), and CRM/PM tools.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
