Job summary

McConnell Dowell is seeking an experienced Project Surveying Manager to join our team in Adelaide for an upcoming major civil infrastructure project. You will lead the surveying function, ensure accurate, timely survey services, and work with construction and engineering teams to support safe delivery.

You’ll coordinate survey activities, manage contract Surveyors and project models, and ensure survey requirements align with project goals and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years' construction surveying experience.
• Relevant tertiary qualification.
• Proven leadership skills to motivate and coordinate a team.
• Strong surveying software, project control and as-built knowledge.
• Excellent planning, coordination and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.

About the role

McConnell Dowell is seeking an experienced Project Surveying Manager to join our team supporting an upcoming major civil infrastructure project in metropolitan Adelaide.

Joining as the project builds towards delivery, you’ll lead the surveying function and ensure accurate, timely and efficient survey services across the project.

Working closely with construction and engineering teams, you’ll coordinate survey activities, manage contract Surveyors and project models, and ensure survey requirements support the safe and efficient delivery of the works.

About you

You’ll be an experienced construction Surveyor with the technical capability and leadership skills to manage the surveying function on a major project.
