Job summary

Tracc Civil is seeking a highly organised Survey & Machine Control Data Controller to join our Perth team. You’ll support field crews with accurate data, develop machine control models, and manage UAV-derived deliverables while collaborating with engineers and project managers.

This role offers exposure to the latest survey technologies and continuous development within a supportive team, with competitive salary depending on experience and a phone bill covered.

Qualifications

• This role requires a surveying-related qualification.
• White Card and current Driver's Licence.
• Experience with survey and machine control software.
• UAV data processing experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain survey set-out files for field crews.
• Create machine control models and GPS surface files.
• Validate drawings and issue current revisions.
• Manage digital survey databases and archives.
• Process UAV survey data into terrain models and point clouds.
• Provide technical support for survey and machine control systems.
• Assist with office calculations, model prep and QA/QC.
• Coordinate design updates and digital workflows with project teams.
• Contribute to drafting standards and machine control processes.
