Overview

Beveridge Williams is a privately owned multi-disciplinary development and infrastructure consultancy renowned for its expertise in surveying, civil engineering, traffic & transport engineering, town planning, urban design, environmental engineering and landscape architecture. Our company employs over 400 staff across 13 offices in Victoria, New South Wales and Northern Territory.

We are looking for a Survey Assistant to join our Malvern office in Victoria. Ideally, candidates will have some experience in the Cadastral industry, but we also welcome those eager to start their careers with an award-winning industry leader. About the Role

The successful applicant will be motivated, enthusiastic, and eager to learn. They will either have experience in, or be trained to undertake, the following responsibilities:

  • Maintain an efficient and safe work environment.
  • Ensure survey equipment is calibrated and well-maintained.
  • Conduct Cadastral and Re-establishment Surveys.
  • Prepare survey plans, subdivisions, and lease area surveys.
  • Perform control surveys and asset recording (sewer, water, A-Spec).
  • Execute feature and level surveys.
  • Carry out engineering surveys, including building set-out, monitoring, volume surveys, level, and estate control.
  • Draft and review cadastral survey documents and plans.
  • Prepare and submit documentation to the Land Registry.
  • Stay updated on survey and planning-related legislation, strategies, and policies.
What We’re Looking For

Ideally, candidate will have:

  • Experience conducting a variety of field surveys.
  • Ability to process and reduce their own field survey data.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Experience with Trimble total stations and GPS equipment (preferred but not required).
  • AutoCAD experience (preferred but not essential).
