Job summary

North West Hospital and Health Service invites you to join the Surgical Ward at Mount Isa Hospital as a Clinical Nurse - Clinical Facilitator to lead clinical practice and support nursing education. You will provide advanced clinical leadership for patients with complex care needs, facilitate education for nursing staff and students, and contribute to quality improvement through evidence-based practice.

This role supports team coordination and governance within a unique outback Queensland

Qualifications

• Mandatory tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences.
• Postgraduate qualification or currently enrolled in a postgraduate program is highly desirable.
• Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster.
• Appointees will also be required to participate in an on-call roster.
• The position may involve travel to various facilities within the North West HHS.
• C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
• Pre-employment screening including Criminal History checks.

• Facilitate clinical education, mentoring and support for nursing staff and students.
