Job summary

NSW Health currently seeks Registered Nurses for Surgical units at Tamworth Hospital. This role offers a mix of permanent and temporary opportunities, with incentives and a dynamic, patient-centred environment.

You will provide high-quality nursing care in Surgical 1 and Orthopaedics, work with a multidisciplinary team, and participate in ongoing professional development within a supportive community. AHPRA registration and visa eligibility for Australia are required.

Qualifications

• Hold Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
• Australian citizen, permanent resident of Australia, or New Zealand citizen with a current NZ passport, or hold an appropriate visa to live and work in Australia
• We are unable to accommodate visa sponsorship for applicants requiring a visa for this position.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level day-to-day nursing care to patients in the Surgical units.
• Manage medications and activities of daily living; assist with mobility and post-operative recovery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure best discharge outcomes for patients.
