MedRecruit Limited is seeking a locum medical practitioner for cover in Gladstone, Queensland. The assignment runs from 6 to 25 October 2026. Travel and accommodation are included, and rates are inclusive of superannuation, taxes, and casual loading where applicable.

Applicants must hold current AHPRA registration and be eligible to work in Australia. The posting notes a patient ward setup with medical/surgical, maternity, paediatric and high dependency units in the Gladstone region.

This hospital is approximately 550 km North of Brisbane and 100 km south-east of Rockhampton.

The hospital has the capacity for 29 bed medical/surgical ward (including palliative care), 14-bed gynaecology/maternity wards with four birthing suites, eight-bed paediatric ward and four-bed high dependency unit.
