Job summary

Small Animal Specialist Hospital in Sydney offers a Surgery Internship to support specialist surgeons with diagnosis, surgical treatment and post-operative care. The role provides access to state-of-the-art theatres, digital imaging and a team of radiology and anaesthesia specialists.

• Degree in Veterinary Science or NSW-registrable Vet Medicine.
• Minimum of 1 year full-time experience as a vet.
• Desirable: rotating internship completed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist specialist surgeons with diagnosis and surgical treatment.
• Provide post-operative care for surgical patients.
• Participate in daily rounds and client communication.
• Support toward ANZCVS membership and research efforts.
