Job summary

HMR Drilling Services is seeking experienced Diamond Drillers to join our expanding Western Australian operations. You will operate surface drilling rigs and contribute to productive, safety-focused projects using modern equipment.

You will work on Boart Longyear LF160 and UDR 1200 rigs, with FIFO or DIDO options, 14/7 or 14/14 rosters, and long-term career progression within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Surface Driller.
• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
• Current National Police Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Operate drilling rigs safely and efficiently.
• Achieve drilling production targets while maintaining quality standards.
• Operate Boart Longyear LF160 and UDR 1200 drill rigs.
• Conduct daily inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain accurate drilling records and reporting.
• Mentor and support Drill Assistants.
• Promote a strong safety culture.

As HMR continues to grow, we are seeking experienced and motivated Diamond Drillers to join our expanding operations across Western Australia.

The Opportunity

Our current Surface Drilling opportunities are based across established gold mining operations in the Kalgoorlie region.

These projects support both mine-site and resource development drilling programs and offer the opportunity to work with modern equipment within safety-focused and supportive team environments.

Accommodation is provided, with crews either accommodated in Kalgoorlie residential housing or camp-style accommodation in the region, depending on project allocation.

Working across a fleet of Boart Longyear LF160, UDR 1200, you'll join experienced crews delivering high-quality drilling outcomes for leading Australian Miners.

About You

• Previous experience as a Surface Driller
