Job summary

Nurse Next Door in Australia is seeking caring individuals to join our in-home care team across Coffs Harbour and surrounding areas. We provide visits to support ageing and disabled clients to live independently at home, with early morning, afternoon, evening or overnight visits to meet client needs.

If you are kind, reliable and speak/write in English, with a minimum Cert III in Aged Care or related field, you can contribute to Making Lives Better every day.

Qualifications

• Minimum Cert III in Aged Care, Community, Individual Support or Disability.
• Must pass National Police Check (Aged Care/Vulnerable Persons).
• Must have Working With Children Check.
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module Completion.

Responsibilities

• Provide a premium care experience to clients that is genuine, compassionate and personalised
• Assist clients with activities of daily living including personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transport and companionship
• Deliver care in accordance with the client's care plan that has been developed by the Care Designer (Registered Nurse)
• Meet safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly.
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.
• Work with a supportive and dynamic team
• Ongoing training

About the Role

• Ability to identify and report client care concerns to Care Designers when needed.
• Reliable way to get to and from the client's homes.
• Drivers with their own vehicle will be an asset

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum Cert III in either Aged care, Community, Individual Support or Disability
