Aruma is seeking Casual Support Workers in Armidale, NSW stage, to empower people with disability to live independently and with purpose. You will support community participation and daily living, building meaningful connections while upholding dignity and rights.

Qualifications

What You'll Be Doing

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Has a genuine passion for supporting people with disability.
• Is flexible and available for a variety of shifts, including weekends, evenings, sleepovers, or active nights.
• Demonstrates empathy, resilience, and a positive attitude.
• Communicates effectively and works well within a team.
• Brings a commitment to respect, accountability, and person-centred practice.
• Holds (or is willing to obtain) relevant clearances and certifications, including NDIS Worker Screening, Working with Children Check, and First Aid/CPR.

Bonus Points If You Have

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or a related qualification.
• Previous experience in disability, community services, aged care, or support work.
• Knowledge of the NDIS and person-centred supports.
