Job summary

Incluso Services in Adelaide's northern suburbs seeks Community Support Workers for casual and part-time roles. You will provide day-to-day support in the community, helping participants live safely and with dignity, including personal care, mobility, meals, transport and social activities.

You will work with compassion, strong communication, and teamwork to empower participants toward independence and meaningful goals. Valid driver license, after-hours willingness, and adaptability are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in community support or disability services is preferred.
• Ability to work with people with diverse needs and backgrounds.
• Hold or be willing to obtain necessary checks and First Aid/CPR.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support within the community to help participants live safely and with dignity.
• Assist with personal care routines, including hygiene, dressing and mobility.
• Support with meal preparation and domestic tasks to promote daily living skills.
• Offer transport and social support to access activities and appointments.

We're excited that we are looking to expand our team and we're on the hunt for Community Support Workers, Casual positions are available in the Northern Suburbs of Adelaide.

We're on the lookout for experienced, reliable, dedicated, compassionate and empathetic Community Support Workers who want to make a difference by supporting our participants in reaching their aspirations and leading fulfilling lives.

Shifts for this role are a combination of Monday, Wednesday and weekend afternoon shifts (approximately 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm). The successful applicant will also have capacity for active overnight shifts.

What you'll do:

• Provide day-to-day support within the community, helping participants live safely, independently, and with dignity
• Assist with personal care routines, including hygiene, dressing, and mobility support
• Support with meal preparation and domestic tasks to promote health and daily living skills
• Offer transport and social support, helping participants access community activities, appointments, and social connections
• Encourage personal development and goal achievement, tailoring support to individual preferences and aspirations
• Build strong, trusting relationships with participants to better understand their needs and deliver people-centered care
• Empower individuals to make choices, develop skills, and pursue what matters most to them

What you'll bring:

• A genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with individuals, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Experience in manual handling and medication administration.
• Empathy, compassion, and emotional resilience, with the ability to build trusting relationships
• Adaptability and patience, especially when responding to complex needs, behavioral challenges, or evolving care requirements
• Strong ability to decision make and take initiative in challenging environments.
• Ideal experience in mobility assistance, and promoting daily living skills, always delivered with respect and professionalism
• An understanding of the importance of inclusion, independence, and empowerment for people with disabilities, and a commitment to supporting their goals
• Physical aptitude and reliability, enabling you to assist with manual handling, transportation and active engagement in recreational or community activities
• A proactive and collaborative approach, working as part of a team to deliver high-quality support and continuously improve outcomes

What we would like you to have:

• Authorised to work in Adelaide
• Valid Adelaide Driver License
• An understanding of the NDIS, disability, and community services sector
• Certificate III Individual Support/Disability or studying towards the qualification will be highly regarded for these positions
• PEG feeding experience
• Minimum 2-year industry experience
• Ability to actively navigate and adapt to change
• Working with Children Check
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• First Aid/CPR Certificate
