Fighting Chance / BASE Housing Collective in Roseville, NSW seeks energetic, values-driven female support workers to empower three housemates with disability to live independent, fulfilling lives. The role involves personalised care, social activities, and documentation across shifts in a compassionate team.

No prior experience required—full training provided, with salary packaging, ongoing training, and flexible shift options including sleepovers.

Qualifications

• Gender: Female (genuine occupational requirement).
• Age: 21+ years old.
• Licence: Full Australian Driver’s Licence or P2 (confident driving in metro Sydney and highways).
• Checks & Training: NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and First Aid & CPR (HLTAID003) — or willingness to obtain.
• Work Rights: Valid Australian work rights (minimum 6 months remaining on visa).
• Qualities: High empathy, positive energy, excellent communication, and a person-centred mindset.

Responsibilities

• Personalised Care: Support housemates with daily living, personal care, medication administration, and health protocols.
• Community Engagement: Assist with social activities, outings, shopping, cafes, and transport to appointments/family visits.
• Skill Building & Behaviour Support: Encourage independent living skills and follow individualised behaviour management plans.
