Job summary

Mounties Care is seeking a compassionate and experienced Casual Support Worker to provide respite support for a client living in Whale Beach, NSW. This casual role offers two weekday shifts per week, 9:00am to 4:00pm, supporting a client living with dementia with a calm, person-centred approach.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Mounties Care is seeking a compassionate and experienced Casual Support Worker to provide respite support for a client living in Whale Beach, NSW!

This is a casual position offering two weekday shifts per week, working 9:00am to 4:00pm. You will be supporting a client living with dementia, so previous dementia care experience is essential.

ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will have:

• Demonstrated experience supporting people living with dementia (essential)
• Experience in aged care, home care or disability support
• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Disability or equivalent) – desirable
• A caring, patient and reliable nature
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and/or Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Current driver's licence, reliable vehicle and comprehensive insurance
