Job summary

Claro Disability Services is seeking a Community Disability Support Worker in Marsfield, NSW. You will support clients with daily living tasks, personal care, and community activities, with a focus on empowerment and independence.

The role requires a year of disability support experience, NDIs clearance, First Aid, CPR, and a valid driver’s license with a reliable vehicle. Shifts include Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays with rostering-based allocation.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as a Disability Support Worker.
• NDIS clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months) and National police clearance or willingness to obtain.
• Driver's license, reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide support with daily activities around the home.
• Assist with hygiene and personal care.
• Support and accompany activities outside the home environment.
• Assist with medication compliance including dispensation of prescription meds.
• Meal assistance and preparation as needed.

• Come and join our team! We are seeking a Community Disability Support Worker located in Marsfield.

Each day may look a little different but your work will be centered around the following:

• Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home
• Providing support with hygiene and personal care
• Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment
• Assisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication
• Meal assistance which may include meal preparation

What shifts are we offering?

• Wednesday 11am to 4pm
• Thursday 9am to 4pm
• Friday 9am to 12pm
• Shifts will be allocated based on rostering needs

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Drivers License, reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insurance
• At least one year experience as a Disability Support Worker
• NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months) & National police clearance - or willingness to obtain
