Job summary

Avivo in Carnarvon invites applications from individuals to join our team as Support Workers. You will provide practical, personalized assistance to customers, helping with daily activities and mobility, while promoting independence and dignity in their lives.

We offer flexible shifts, including weekdays, and on-the-job training with buddy shifts to help you build the necessary skills in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a current driver’s license and an NDIS clearance or be willing to obtain one.
• Able to work varying hours across Monday to Sunday to meet client needs.
• Comfortable assisting with mobility and physical tasks as required.
• Willing to assist customers with domestic cleaning and personal care tasks.

About the Role:

Our team are looking for Support Workers in the Carnarvon area who can work alongside our customers to provide quality and practical assistance that enables them to continue to lead their own lives with dignity and stay connected with family and community. We offer flexible shift options, including weekday (Monday to Friday) to accommodate a variety of schedules.

What You Need:

• Current driver’s license and a NDIS Clearance or willing to obtain one
• Flexibility to work varying hours between Monday to Sunday.
• Ability to assist with physical tasks and help with mobility as needed.
• Willingness to assist customers with domestic cleaning and personal care tasks.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide practical and personalized support to our customers, including assistance with daily activities and mobility.
• Advocate for their rights and preferences to ensure they feel empowered in their care.
• Help customers stay connected to their communities and maintain independence through social activities and local services.
