Job summary

Silverchain is hiring a Care Aide to work in Bridgetown and surrounding areas in a casual capacity. You will travel between clients’ homes delivering high-quality personal care and social support, following digital schedules via a mobile app.

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and be comfortable working autonomously in the community. The role offers a generous hourly rate with 25% loading and travel allowances, plus employee benefits and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care is highly desirable, though not essential.
• 3 months care worker experience (with relevant certificate); 6+ months if no certificate.
• Experience in home care/community settings is highly desirable.
• Valid Driver's Licence with unrestricted access to a registered vehicle.
• Willingness to travel between clients’ homes and use a mobile app for schedules.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and support to promote client independence.

Care Aide – Bridgetown and surrounds – WA

We’re recruiting experienced Care Aides for a casual role,mainly needed Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 10am and 6pm.

Applicants must live in Balingup, Benjinup, Boyup Brook, Bridgetown, Catterick, Dinninup, Glenlynn, Greenbushes, Hester, Hester Brook, Kangaroo Gully, Mayanup, North Greenbushes, Scotts Brook, Sunnyside, Wilga West, Winnejup, Yornup,

The role involves delivering high‑quality personal care and support, including showering, grooming, toileting, medication assistance, meal preparation, domestic tasks and community-based social support. Care Aides work independently, travelling between clients’ homes, so a reliable vehicle and confidence using a mobile app to follow schedules and care plans are essential.

What we’re looking for

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, HACC, Disability is highly desirable, although not essential.
• Those with a relevant Certificate will require a minimum of 3 months relevant care worker experience. Those without a relevant Certificate will require a minimum of 6+ months relevant care worker experience (FTE).
• Experience working in a home care/community setting is highly desirable.
• A valid Drivers’ License with unrestricted access to a registered vehicle which is appropriately insured and in good condition, is essential.
• Ability and willingness to work autonomously in the community, travelling from home to home, referring to a digital schedule and care plan, via a mobile app, will be essential.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills are essential.
