Job summary

Uniting NSW & ACT is seeking a Home Care Worker in Berrigan for a permanent part-time role, Monday to Friday. You will support elderly clients at home, promoting independence and quality of life, with travel between nearby areas (travel time and 99c per km).

Qualifications

• Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in aged or community care preferred, or willingness to start a career in aged care.
• Empathetic and resourceful, aligning with Uniting values.
• Flexible to accommodate clients' evolving needs and schedules.
• Provisional or full Australian driving licence and access to a insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Help at home with housekeeping, groceries, and meal preparation.
• Transport clients to appointments, shopping, and social activities.
• Assist with personal care including hygiene, showering, dressing, meals and medication.

Pay Rate: $36.23 - $37.68per hour + 99c per km and travel time

Responsibilities:

• Help at home: Assist with housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.

• Personal Care: Support with personal hygiene, showering, dressing, meal assistance, and medication administration.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience in aged or community care is preferred, or a strong desire to begin a career in aged care.

• A provisional or full Australian driving license and access to a comprehensively insured, reliable vehicle.
