Job summary

Kanda Disability Services in Australia seeks confident Support Workers to provide high‑quality, person‑centred care in a high‑support environment. You’ll help people with complex behaviours, support independence and promote safety through compassionate practice.

You’ll need a current driver’s licence, Working with Children’s Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain), First Aid/CPR (or willingness), and the right to work in Australia.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with complex behaviours.
• Ability to perform manual handling safely.
• Current driver’s licence (P2 or open) with reliable vehicle.
• Working with Children’s Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain.
• First Aid and CPR, or willingness to obtain.
• Right to work in Australia.

• Competitive pay rates from $35 - $46 per hour plus penalties, allowances

What we’re really looking for

For this role, we’re looking for confident and experienced Support Workers who can work safely and consistently in a high-support environment.

We’re looking for people who:

• Have experience supporting people with complex behaviours
• Are confident with manual handling and working within SIL environments
• Stay calm and use good judgement when situations become challenging
• Can confidently follow established support and manual handling plans
• Work well as part of a team and communicate effectively
• Are reliable and comfortable working across a 24/7 support program

What you’ll need
