MALE SUPPORT WORKER NEEDED - URGENT

Location : CARNDALE

We are currently seeking a compassionate, experienced, and reliable mature MALE Disability Support Worker to support a participant with complex physical, neurological, and mental health needs.

This position involves providing high levels of individualised support in a person-centred environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance while ensuring dignity and comfort.

• Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the participant’s daily quality of life.

• Maintain accurate records and report any concerns to the relevant team members.

Requirements

• Native English speakers preferred (as per participant preference)

• Knowledge and implementation of Behaviour Support Plans and restrictive practices

• High-level empathy, patience, and compassion

• Ability to remain calm and responsive during seizure events

• First Aid and CPR (seizure management training is a plus)

• Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check

• Driver’s license and reliable transport
